Popular student venue that’s the perfect break from campus.
As soon as you step inside Blackweir Tavern you will feel our welcoming atmosphere. Our staff will do their best to make your visit one to remember. We have a great vibe about us and our aim is to give you a great time, whatever the reason for your visit. If it’s food you’re after, delve into our varied menu. There are burgers, curries, grills and of course traditional pub grub for the whole family. Youngsters can grab a bite from the children’s menu. Sample our drinks menu as well, from cool draught lagers, craft beers, to cocktails, wine or a soft drink.

If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat with friends, or pop in after work – head on over! Our new menu features lots of dishes with big flavour! From our Gammon Steak Melt Stack (topped with pulled pork chilli if you fancy it!) to Golden Scampi or even The Yorkshire Platter; there’s something to tempt you for any hankering. Fancy something a little lighter? No problem – check out our Chicken and Bacon Salad, or range of ‘skinny’ burgers that will go nicely with one of our refreshing drinks!
